Overview
WR Fundraising Recruitment have a brilliant opportunity for a passionate and ambitious fundraiser to join a small charity with big potential. Working on one of the most prevalent diseases to affect UK society through campaigning, advocacy, and providing help and support, you will be pivotal in engaging a massive group of potential and existing supporters. This role calls for a real all-rounder, able to develop income across a wide range of audiences, channels, and formats. You will be leading a team of two dedicated fundraising officers, while taking an active part in the senior management team, and acting as an ambassador for the charity with a wide range of stakeholders. Fundraising Manager Full Time Permanent (37.5 Hours Per Week) London Up to £42,000 p.a. dependent on skills and experience Key responsibilities of the role will include: · Leading on the development and delivery of an innovative fundraising strategy, building on existing income streams and identifying areas with potential for development Lead the fundraising team, taking an active role in all aspects of the programme and supporting team development Taking an active role on the charity leadership team, supporting the wider strategic aims Actively engaging with the organisation’s stakeholders, providing exceptional stewardship of supporters and service users Undertake research on, network and build relationships with prospective partners, supporters, and service users Work closely with the communications team to ensure fundraising messaging is clear, concise, and updated across all channels Build strong relationships with the wider organisation, developing knowledge of programmes and encouraging collaborative working and a culture of positivity The ideal candidate for this role will: Be an ambitious, highly organised, and proactive fundraiser Have proven experience as a successful fundraiser, able to set and deliver on strategic goals Have some line management experience Be experienced in researching, forming, managing and developing accounts with corporate partners and foundations Be a brilliant communicator, able to present to a wide range of supporters and stakeholders Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects Be a confident relationship builder and ambassador who is proactive and self-motivated Focus on solutions, being innovative and creative to overcome challenges To register your interest and for more information please send your CV in the first instance.
