2453 - Senior Marketing Manager - Credit Card launch - London 12 months contract - £60-85K Do you want to be part of a dynamic, customer-focused organisation? Our client is massive player in the travel world looking for an experienced Marketing profession to assist with the launch a co-branded credit card. They’re seeking a passionate marketer to join the team to lead the marketing strategy for the upcoming co-brand credit card. This will be a market-leading co-brand product, which leverages a world-class rewards programme to deliver an unbeatable engagement opportunity for customers. Working truly cross-functionally, as well as externally with our bank and network partners, you will lead marketing efforts for our co-brand credit card. You’ll ensure that this exciting, new product is effectively marketed and that our card-holder acquisition and retention strategy is optimised for ongoing competitive strength and relevancy. What you’ll do: Be the in-house authority on co-brand marketing, working with internal and external partners to develop a compelling and creative omni-channel marketing strategy for the new Credit Card Take ownership for translating the programme strategy into a coherent and engaging marketing plan, delivering account acquisition and card spend forecast numbers Work closely with all internal marketing channel owners on using new and existing channels to drive card acquisition and engagement Be the powerhouse behind end-to-end campaign development; leading campaign strategy, execution, optimisation and analysis Collaborate with the Brand team, Loyalty team, wider marketing functions and external partners to develop efficient operational (briefing, approvals, analysis etc) and governance processes Work with data & research partners to develop a deep understanding of our cardholders with the aim of segmenting our base to drive spend motivation and take rate Handle a sizable annual marketing budget, ensuring appropriate return on investment monitoring and reporting is in place Communicate freely; ensuring strong internal visibility of credit card marketing efforts at all levels of the organization Be a champion of test and learn, ensuring testing, data and research are at the heart of all decision-making Lead customer and market research initiatives to actively drive insights and identify new opportunities Provide thought-leadership on effective co-brand credit card marketing and proposition development approaches Who you are: Have previous credit card launch marketing experience, preferably with a co-branded credit card Have very strong partner management & interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, motivate and gain consensus across all levels of the organisation Be highly detailed orientated with the ability to tackle the minutiae while keeping a perspective on the bigger picture Significant experience in a financial services marketing or credit product management role Preferably have prior experience marketing a credit card, with a deep understanding of the credit card industry You should be highly creative yet equally happy analyzing campaign performance and return on investment data Be passionate about developing compelling customer experiences Have the ability to take on unstructured/undefined problems and apply creative and strategic frameworks to solve them Be a strong self-starter with the ability to work effectively in an ambiguous and dynamic environment Willingness for frequent travel to the US Essential Requirements - Co-brand marketing experience (brand side) - Independent thinker with strong initiative - Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
