The Role We are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to deliver core Merchandising activities for Majestic Commercial & Calais business. Key Responsibilities: Provide weekly, seasonal and ad-hoc analysis of range and promotional performance Use internal data, competitor comparisons and market data to inform Majestic’s ideal range, covering key products, varietals and price-points Own the SKU level forecasting and WSSI management for the Categories Work with the Customer and Buying Teams to analyse what is successful, reviewing and reporting range and promotional performance weekly. Ensure that all range coding is up to date. Facilitate Merchandising team projects which involve cross-merchandiser product categories Deputise for Merchandisers in their absence, reviewing weekly trading performance on specific categories where necessary Become a subject matter expert on key internal processes Deliver the financial KPI’s as set out by the business Knowledge & Skills Required: Previous experience as a Junior Merchandiser/Merchandiser Strong excel skills Analytical skills: able to review large volumes of data and draw commercial insight Strong communication skills: able to communicate clearly and effectively within the team and cross-functionally Project management: Experience facilitating and tracking cross-functional projects, spotting potential risks and pitfalls and managing expectations Customer-focused: Always making decisions with both external and internal customers in mind Interest in Wine is advantageous but not essential Benefits: A competitive salary based on your experience 20% discount on wine Performance related bonus Life assurance 3x your salary Free lunch provided each day Free parking on site Contributory pension An unparalleled fun company culture that's focused on empowering and developing our employees.
