Indirect Specialist Category Lead - Market leading Telecommunications Organisation: Our client, one of the country's leading Telecommunications firms is now looking to transform its procurement function. If you wish to be involved in a revolutionary procurement shift, then read below: Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 10% annual bonus Based at their Central London HQ - Opportunity for Flexible working Working in a Procurement function that is undergoing radical procurement change, now focusing on Strategic Sourcing strategies, you will be brought in to lead and influence this change. With the company providing a range of services, such as broadband, TV and mobile, you will be part of one of the fastest growing and exciting commercial brands currently. You will be the Category Expert for a range of Indirect categories, including IT, Marketing, FM and Professional Services showing off your talents as a generalist. Be the lead for sourcing strategies, devising these strategies from the ground up and ensure that you manage the relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the transformation of the procurement function across your Category continues. As the Category Lead for Indirect, your role will involve: Developing effective sourcing strategies for your Indirect Categories which will match the innovation seen across the rest of the procurement function, organisation wide. Being an effective generalist, covering a range of Indirect Categories, ensuring they all prosper, and the strategies brought on are cost effective. Covering tender processes from end to end and ensuring these strategies and contracts are implemented effectively by negotiating and communicating with key stakeholders. You will have background knowledge and experience: A range of Indirect Categories, showing a background in bringing about quantifiable savings results with effective strategies for more than one indirect category. Successfully negotiating and influencing a range of internal stakeholders and suppliers. MCIPS/CIPS qualified is preferable however not essential. Minimum of degree level qualification.
