ABOUT THE ROLE The SEO Senior Account Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of our clients’ organic search (SEO) strategy, as well as the content project planning for each client. You will work alongside the SEO technical Director to develop and communicate a clear business proposition and translate this into compelling, creative and workable solutions for clients. WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO Assess client’s current website limitations and SEO performance Undertake online sector and competitor analysis Carry out website usability and design considerations Formulate and implement inbound link building strategies Make relevant content recommendations Plan and manage updates to clients’ websites, either with their own development team or ours Work with clients’ social media /web dev / PR teams Manage and implement SEO strategy for our clients Manage content production and integrate to maximise search performance Design and implement content amplification strategies, working with external resources and our own Biddable Media team Evolve strategies to continually improve sites performance Be involved in new business pitches when required Be a key point of knowledge on SEO within the company, constantly keeping up to date on new trends/systems and methods, reporting back to colleagues where necessary Ensure SEO performance is understood in the context of other media channels Account manage designated SEO projects Take responsibility across all SEO implementation techniques to include: o Research, analysis and planning o On-site optimisation strategies o Off-site optimisation strategies - content marketing and social media Liaise with clients and internal departments across the entire campaign delivery process Contribute to new business enquiries involving SEO including pitch presenting where required Ensure sustained profitability across designated SEO projects Optimise ongoing campaigns to meet and exceed client’s performance objectives Ensure proper tracking mechanisms are implemented to ensure campaign "success metrics" are appropriately measured Assess web analytics data and historical campaign data to create ROI performance planning and benchmarks targeting Produce regular web stat and campaign reports for clients Support the development of junior members of staff including management of their workload relating to your responsibilities General tasks Contribute to any outbound marketing and PR strategies focusing around SEO Develop tools and templates to assist the efficiency of our SEO strategies Assist the Finance department with invoice reconciliation Train and support junior executives and building knowledge of SEO within the company Be aware of all developments and their potential impact on organic search rankings WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW The SEO Senior Account Manager is expected to have the following skills and knowledge: Extensive SEO experience Experience with multi-territory SEO strategies Knowledge of website architecture and onsite technical SEO is desirable Ability to interpret web analytics data (especially Google Analytics) Experience using a range of SEO ranking tools including and keyword research and planning tools Basic web and creative design skills are desirable Copy-writing experience is desirable Good interpersonal skills, experience managing client relationships Solid direct SEO experience required Good understanding of the role of social media within the SEO space Motivated business professional Enthusiastic, proactive approach Passionate about great work and winning solutions Graduate degree qualification is desirable Computer literate especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint and mathematically-minded Good understanding of paid search campaigns specifically on Google, Yahoo Marketing, Bing platforms would be beneficial but is not essential An excellent opportunity for the right individual to take the next step in their career where your hard work will be recognised and rewarded.
