Senior Lighting Designer Chelsea, London (Flagship Showroom) £35,000 - £38.000 Hours 9am to 5.30pm Opportunity for Bonus, 20 days annual leave, bank holidays and Christmas shut down. Our Values: ü Professionalism ü Quality ü Teamwork ü Accountability ü Inclusion ü Integrity Overview We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Senior Lighting Designer to join a new division of our internationally recognised Lighting Design service. As we expand the offering to our clients through our conceptual design division. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7-8 years relevant lighting design experience and be used to working within a lighting design team on a variety of projects They will be able to produce conceptual lighting design information, provide detailed lighting integration information, attend meetings, liaise with the team, present to clients and provide project for our clients Responsibilities Manage and lead design projects from early concept through to completion, delivering high quality and detail-orientated work Assist the team and wider business with lighting design concepts Compile and present design concepts to clients, architects and other members of the project design team Supporting junior members of the conceptual design team Support and deliver projects globally and be willing to travel when required Producing concept and detailed design packages, including AutoCAD plans and design details, specifications and schedules. Preparing sketch design proposals and mood boards Liaising with architects and interior designers Project management of the design service including the preliminary meeting, preparation of plans, revisions, further support/progress and commissioning New business development Attending site visits Research and development to ensure that you keep up to date with the latest technologies and thinking Requirements Minimum of 7 years’ experience Ability to demonstrate skillset via portfolio Experience with conceptual lighting design Revit AutoCAD Photoshop and Office. Knowledge of 3DS Max and three-dimensional design tools would also be beneficial. Your current portfolio should demonstrate your ability to conceptualise lighting designs and oversee these to project completion. Please forward CV & portfolio with application.
