Overview

My client, a leading independent creative communications agency working with some of the best consumer brands on the planet, is looking to hire a Social Media Director to lead the social, digital and influencer offering at the agency. The Social Media Director will be responsible for overseeing amplification and distribution strategy for global fashion and consumer brands across owned, earned and paid social channels. Whilst the Social Media Director will focus primarily on integrating paid, earned and owned social activity, they will also perform a broader role that dovetails with the work of the strategy & planning teams and assists in integrated comms planning for clients globally developing multi-channel marketing & amplification campaigns across all verticals. In addition, the Social Media Director will provide consultancy, training & strategy to clients, with a focus on integrating e-commerce with social. They will be heavily involved in new business & building relationships with senior clients & stakeholders. The Social Media Director will provide cross-group thought leadership and mentoring in social media & effectiveness The Social Media Director will be highly analytical and well versed in using utilising data and social listening tool My client would like to meet candidates with strong agency experience and ideally a blend of paid media and earned social experience. A self-starting attitude, entrepreneurial flair and excellent academic rigour.
