Overview
WR Fundraising Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Trust Fundraiser who is looking to take the next step in their fundraising career. This position offers huge opportunity, taking on the line management of a Trusts Executive and working together to drive forward a large portfolio of trusts, foundations, and other donors that currently contributes around £600k a year to the charity’s income. You’ll be joining a team where development and learning are at the core of what drives this successful fundraising department. This is a charity that believes in investing in staff and placing attitude and ethics at the core of the team, and is a great chance to join a fantastic organisation and develop as a professional fundraiser. This role needs someone who can bring a combination of excellent research and writing skills along with a real understanding of donor stewardship and engagement. For the right candidate it is a brilliant opportunity to step into a Senior Trust Fundraising position with the support and encouragement to develop and grow as a fundraiser. Senior Trusts Executive Full-time Permanent Surrey Up to £28k depending on experience Key responsibilities of the role will include: Securing income from UK trusts, foundations, and other organisations through compelling applications Building key relationships with new and existing funders, delivering a high level of stewardship Carrying out research to identify new potential funding sources Develop engaging propositions for support that are closely aligned to donor interests Meet regularly with donors, championing a person-centred approach to fundraising Support the wider fundraising team at key donor events and meetings Engage with teams across the charity to develop cases for support and source content for impact reporting Line manage the Trusts Executive, supporting their development and progress Continue to develop a high level of insight and awareness around trust fundraising The ideal candidate for this role will: Be a highly skilled writer and communicator, able to develop compelling proposals for financial support Have experience of successfully securing fundraising investment from trusts and foundations Be highly organised, able to work with a range of different projects and people effectively Be a confident negotiator, influencer, and ambassador for the organisation Be energetic, enthusiastic, and positive in working approach Be motivated to work for a charity making a huge impact on the lives of those affected by disability Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects Be a confident relationship builder and ambassador who is proactive and self-motivated To register your interest and for more information please send your CV in the first instance.
