Business Development Manager We are proud to be working in close conjunction with a Global Leader in developing the most advanced Cochlear Implant systems in the world - our client is leading the way for innovations within the ever-evolving Healthcare industry of Audiology. You will contribute to advancing Biomedical Technology that is improving patient’s quality of life - this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to have a significant impact on increasing patient access to this technology which has a less than 7% penetration rate in eligible adults. The key objectives of the Business Development Manager are to develop and implement the Consumer Initiative strategic goals whilst working in line with company values, rules and procedures. Key Responsibilities: This applicant will create and implement the consumer initiative strategy within the UK, in line with global lead generation strategy. This will include: Identifying market opportunities for the promotion of the brand directly to consumers Manage a team working directly with CI candidates who are inquiring about cochlear implants and supporting them through their hearing journey Collaboratively plan and implement the promotion of products and services at consumer-focused and professional conferences and events Educate hearing healthcare and related professionals to identify and refer suitable patients as part of their service development Collaborate with Marketing to deliver direct to patient communications and campaigns focused on patient education/awareness Drive and support accurate referrals and measure effectiveness through brand growth Your Experience: Healthcare related (Medical or Scientific) degree or its equivalent A proven track record in developing and leading teams Strong sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/device sales or marketing Proven track record of exceeding sales targets through the development of referral pathways preferred National and Regional Market Development experience preferred Strong written and oral communication skills Should be able to work autonomously and collaborate on a team Eagerness to develop skills and responsive to new initiatives If you're interested in the above role, then please do apply online, or for more information please contact Audiology Recruitment Specialist Patrick Reed .
