Overview

What’s the opportunity? We are looking for a creative and ambitious marketing professional to lead on the research, strategy planning and delivery of all UK campaigns supporting our fast-paced Recruitment team. What you will be doing Developing the UK strategy and content plan for our Recruitment campaigns (across print, company websites, LinkedIn and Twitter) to raise awareness of MBDA career opportunities with a focus on increasing applications and improving diversity Identifying marketing opportunities, planning, drafting and managing the delivery of all Recruitment campaigns across a range of media to Develop engaging messages which stand out against fierce competition Increase traffic to our careers website Increase MBDA careers online presence and our social media following Assessing the impact and updating the content of all internal and external Recruitment campaigns and supporting materials used in Resourcing. Working with our Group Communications team to promote our Employer Brand to the UK market Working with key internal stakeholders to identify and source appropriate written and graphic content to implement campaign activity, including: Media Relations, Customer Relations, Graphics, Internal Communications and Functional heads. Learning about and understanding the Defence industry and using your campaigns to immediately react to market changes and trends. Researching recruitment activities in other similar companies and benchmarking campaign / advertising options. Measuring the effectiveness of activities and adjusting plan or strategy as required. Stakeholder analysis and profiling – researching potential stakeholders to understand which groups may facilitate campaign delivery and what aspects can be used to target audiences. Managing the day to days tasks of MBDA Careers social media profiles, managing posts, news, blog, video, responses and monitoring and ensuring content is engaging and timely. Managing MBDA Careers social media guidelines including how to, sourcing stories and training rest of the team to support. Planning, arranging implementation and measuring Search Engine Optimisation and online sponsored content campaigns via Google and Social Media platforms Providing communications support to retention projects linked to Recruitment, such as awards entries and promoting all wins in line with employer brand, reward and benefits and career development. Co-ordinating the production of video, graphic and infographic content to support campaign activities. What’s great about joining this team? Who and what we are looking for from you? First and foremost we need someone who has the drive and dedication to succeed coupled with an enthusiasm for Recruitment advertising and marketing across different media including social media. Degree educated or relevant experience. Experience and understanding of social media, LinkedIn Recruiter / Talent Insights would be highly beneficial. including sponsored content for use in recruitment Media monitoring experience. Strong copy writing and proof reading skills . A passion about the defence industry, understanding what we do and why Experience of artwork production working with either in-house or agency graphic design teams and advertising brokers. Ability to provide creative story-telling tailored for a range of audiences. Knowledge and experience of digital branding, marketing and Google Analytics. Experience of web content management systems. Experience of identifying, planning and delivering content across a range of formats. Knowledge and experience of branding for use with employer branding . Ability to build and maintain rapport with key business contacts and colleagues. Ability to persuade and influence others. Prioritise workload to achieve deadlines and take advantage of topical content and campaigns. Ability to work at pace, under pressure and across all levels of the organisation.
