Global Operations Manager -South Coast - Up to £50,000 Benefits The Client My Client is one of the UK’s most recognised multi-channel retail brands stocking a wide range of womenswear, Menswear, footwear, and accessories, all designed in-house, in the UK. The Role To play a key part, working with the retail leadership team, in driving a progressive strategy and direction for the shops in UK, ROI and USA. To lead and deliver, measure and review multiple retail initiatives; ensuring budgets are managed, benefits are realised and all relevant parties are engaged. To manage and 'gatekeep’ the retail calendar and communication across the UK, ROI and USA. Delivering a good balance of high quality information and inspiration for the retail team. To lead and develop the retail operations team; including the management of the retail ops budget, supplier relationships and retail policy. Main Duties/ responsibilities: Work with the multi-channel leadership to develop and agree the direction and priorities for the sales channels Stretch the teams thinking with innovative ideas Contribute and consider a breadth of initiatives across all aspects of the global business Endorse / Improve any proposals and decisions with well-considered evidence Constructively feedback and engage with peers to reach an even better outcome Be prepared to compromise and then fully support the agreed direction Lead and deliver multiple retail initiatives Own and manage the retail projects. Deliver clear plans and benefit cases to aid sign off; ensuring the customer is the ultimate 'beneficiary’ of any project. Work collaboratively with fellow project stakeholders and ensure all stakeholders are engaged and consulted at the appropriate points. Deliver projects on time and to budget. Monitor performance posts go live to ensure business cases are delivered. Manage the retail projects calendar; ensuring 'pinch points’ are avoided in retail and the wider business. Manage and 'gatekeep’ the retail calendar and communications for the global business Balance the long-term needs with the day to day tactical to ensure shops receive clear and timely communication. Continue to evolve the 'house style’ of communication providing a good balance of clarity, fun and inspiration. Plan and deliver the retail events across the UK, ROI and USA Plan and deliver a strong incentive plan and manage the incentive budget across the global business. The Candidate Proven experience of operating at a senior level within the retail. Proven experience of contributing to a strategic direction in a fast pace and progressive environment. Proven track record of delivering complex and multi-function projects; on time, to budget and benefits realised. Proven experience of developing small teams. Evidence of putting the customer at the heart of all decision making.
