Overview

A product manager is required to join this global company in the security industry based in Surrey. • Identify requirements for new products by performing market, customer needs and competitive analysis, as well as meetings and interviews, and evaluating new technologies and trends • Develop requirements and work with headquarters, solution partners and suppliers to support development of new products and solutions that fit and exceed market needs and provide sales advantage • Evaluate and test new and current products and solutions to identify gaps and provide improvement recommendations and requirements to fill the gaps • Keep staff and stakeholders up to date with upcoming products availability and features using product roadmap presentations, reports and webinars • Establish and manage product launches with time schedules, information, training and internal communication • Create and maintain sales tools including content for product collateral and demonstration videos, working closely with marketing and headquarters, emphasising product capabilities, benefits and use-cases • Manage compliance documentation and product certifications • Manage product pricing strategy and determine optimal prices for new products • Collect and share information for product sales forecast and create related reports as needed • Oversee the product line’s life cycle, including managing End-of-Life strategy • Work with technical services and other departments to support strategic projects as needed • Monitor aged stock and product availability to ensure appropriate product inventory levels • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Candidate Profile. • Previous experience in a similar Product Management role within the Security industry • Broad technical experience, such as engineering or field installation, preferably working with and/or developing Video Surveillance or Physical Security products, hardware and software, solutions and integrations • Organised, able to prioritise well and manage personal workload and time, has a high sense of urgency • High levels of commitment, responsible and able to own a task or a project from start to completion • Industrious, ambitious, positive and goals-oriented • Customer centric personality and highly developed consultative approach, preferably experience supporting sales or working in Customer Support • Team player, ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic and collaborative team, with exceptional levels of communication • Technology savvy, curious, analytical, creative and innovative thinker • Familiarity with pricing models • Excellent presentation skills, capable to deliver convincing presentations on products to sales, senior staff and customers • Engineering or Technical Degree Level Education (desirable) • Intermediate & Advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills to include Excel • English language essential, European language skills advantageous • Clean Driving License Able to Commute to Surrey.
