Mobile Marketing Consultant A growing Mobile Marketing Consultancy seeks a marketing consultant to join their team. The company focuses on the mobile app industry, delivering services from User Acquisition and App Store Optimization through to User Lifecycle Messaging. Each of these services has been crafted by industry-leading experts in an analytically-driven manner to increase & optimize one or more of the following core app metrics - acquisition volume & quality, user retention, engagement & monetization. The role: You will join the App Store Optimisation team helping clients gain an edge through increased discoverability of their apps in Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store. App Store Marketing represents a substantial source of user acquisition and revenue generation for many companies. In some cases, clients operate exclusively via the App Store Therefore, this increasingly crucial role will equip you with skills that will prove extremely valuable in your professional career. Core duties Conducting research on clients’ sectors and their competitors in the mobile marketing field. What features are they releasing? What imagery and tone of voice are they using? What can our clients learn from them? Stay abreast with developments in the Mobile Marketing field, especially with regards to Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store Research all data available and transform it into actionables for clients Recommending to clients Marketing activities and Product development Writing and honing metadata updates for client’s App Store and Play Store presence that will lead to increased organic conversions Briefing in-house designers’ or clients’ creative teams with the objective of increasing the conversion rates of imagery and video Crafting, maintaining and following an activities calendar that will enable clients to continuously improve over time Reporting to clients on a monthly basis with performance results, learnings and future actions to be taken Key requirements: Demonstrable passion for Marketing: You will have some work/internship experience in the Marketing field and/or actively engaged in this field via personal blogging, courses or otherwise Attention to detail: You will write and proof-read content that will ultimately be used by clients and seen by customers Passionate about data: You feel very comfortable using and analysing data with tools like Excel Excellent written English: Not only is your grammar and vocabulary fantastic, but you’re also a confident storyteller Quick on your feet: As ASO is a new and rapidly expanding area in Marketing, you’ll need to possess the ability to quickly transform your acquired knowledge and intuition into actionables Ideal requirements: Data visualisation: Experience using tools like Tableau or Microsoft’s PowerBI Graphic Design skills: Capable of making basic edits on tools like Illustrator or Photoshop SQL Databases and/or coding languages: As we’re a data-driven consultancy, being able to manipulate SQL databases and a basic knowledge of coding would be advantageous to the team and the wider company Project management skills: You’ll be involved in different client accounts, and over time we’ll expect you to take ownership of some of those accounts.
