Overview
A long-standing and reputable London Lobbying Group are in search of a Senior Policy Adviser- Life Sciences to take the lead on co-ordinating business members positions on key issues within the sector. We are looking for a candidate with proven generalist policy experience, knowledge of the key policy issues in the capital and experience of working with senior stakeholders and business leaders. It would also be a great advantage if you have experience working with other associations that work within the Life Sciences sectors. Key Responsibilities include: Developing submissions to the Mayor's strategies which will involve working with members and leading round table discussions to collate feedback and produce the response. Gaining member input into the policy development. Finding innovative ways to represent policy priorities and working with the press team to maximise media coverage on the topics. Managing the relationships with members, making sure they are engaged with the activity the organisation is doing and are kept up to date on the policy work via newsletters. You will also listen to their feedback and make sure the policy agenda and events programme is working for them. Project Managing and assisting with the planning of large scale events.
