Overview
Responsible for monitoring and managing a team whilst ensuring clients are receiving the strategic direction and day to day delivery for within their accounts. Job Description: Scheduling work and managing the time allocation of each member of the team to service each client’s requirements in the most profitable way Planning PR and social media campaigns and identifying and presenting additional revenue-earning opportunities to the client where appropriate Copywriting and reviewing the copywriting of the team and any other written documents made available to external parties Leading client meetings Dealing with and resolving issues with clients and other external parties Acting as the initial sounding board for the team for any internal/HR issues and advice Promoting the development of each member of the team to the benefit of the individuals and the clients - identifying and tackling areas for development, recommending training. Cross selling services and communicating effectively with client services Analysing and understanding client profitability Attending journalist and client events outside of office hours for relationship building / networking Person Specification: Previous experience in a similar role is essential Able to interpret the clients marketing strategy and develop a plan to budget Able to devise costed, new business proposals - from the prospects brief Demonstrate initiative, working closely with editorial and advertising contacts Setting own deadlines and those of direct reports Able to sell ideas and proposals to clients and prospects, in an engaging, personable manner Able to identify opportunities to promote the client and their activities Additional Information: Based in Leatherhead £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience plus £3k car allowance Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm 21 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 23 with service) and shutdown at Xmas Pension scheme Medical Insurance Parking available We appreciate the time you took to apply for this vacancy, however due to the high level of applications that we receive, we can only respond to successful candidates.
