Overview
Inspiring students to aim higher in their job search aspirations and account managing finalists into graduate jobs is a key component of this role. Working as part of a multi-site team, the Graduate Recruitment Consultant will work in close association with key Graduate Talent colleagues to provide information and advice to support students into enriching graduate level employment. The role-holder will develop creative ways to support finalists into graduate jobs to meet key corporate objectives, including TEF and Graduate Outcomes. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Support students into employment by delivering embedded support and practical training to students on specific job search techniques including CVs,applications and interview skills Working closely with Career Registration and other data, account manage and support the development of specific career and job pathways for key groups of students. Work with the Team Online Content Generator to produce high quality labour market intelligence and share this with key colleagues Practice: future-forward and emerging recruitment trends and practices, using social media for job searching and self-promotion, 21st Century speculative applications and networking, new working trends, practices and patterns, assessment centres, gamification and video interviewing, creative, technical and academic CVs and entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial pathways. Work with relevant colleagues to support online and offsite assessment centres, workplace visits and events. Support the Addvantage scheme by introducing the scheme at induction and providing advice to on modules choice. Person Specification: Degree level or equivalent professional qualification /experience A qualification in Careers Guidance, e.g. Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance You should have experience of supporting clients, 1-1 and in groups Experience of designing and delivering assessment centre activities.
