Senior Risk, Compliance & Clinical Governance Manager Reports to - Medical Director Location details - office based in Marylebone, London Contract details - Permanent, 37.5 hours Monday to Friday Salary details - basic salary of £65-72,000 plus bonus and private healthcare Our vision is to provide the highest quality virtual healthcare in every home, at the convenience of the patent. A bout t he opportunity If you are looking to join a rapidly expanding clinical business who are progressive, using digital and medical technology to support our patients this could be the role for you. Your role will be to oversee and guide the company on all aspects of organisational, clinical, operational and policy compliance, at all levels of the business, ensuring statutory and regulatory requirements are met. You will be responsible for managing the relationship with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Regulation and Improvement Authority (RQIA) and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). By developing organisational infrastructures, systems and processes you will enable the effective dissemination of statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements and best practice, and the subsequent monitoring and evidencing of their compliance, whilst recognising opportunities for continual improvement. You will lead on preparation for all CQC, RQIA and MHRA inspections and responsible for overall internal audit program strategy, planning, development, execution, and maintenance. You will also ensure that the company properly discharges all of its legal obligations and related duties under current Health and Safety legislation, taking responsibility for the development and management of robust health and safety strategies, policies, processes and procedures and assisting line managers in their implementation. There is also a small team compliance team that you will lead and develop. About you You will have proven senior management experience in compliance, in a healthcare setting with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry standards and regulations. With Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping you also have experience of working with regulatory bodies and working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and practice You will demonstrate a good understanding of risk assessments and risk registers. A Postgraduate qualification, equivalent professional qualifications, and/or substantial experience in a similar role or setting is also required.
