SENIOR INSIGHT ANALYST LONDON £45,000 - £50,000 Are you looking for an opportunity to challenge yourself in a leading data orientated media company? They have an established data & analytics team and offer exceptional training opportunities for the right candidate to GROW and DEVELOP their technical skills. There are opportunities for you to go down a more commercial data path or alternatively you can tailor your career down the data science route in the future. THE COMPANY As a senior insight analyst, you will be working for an established media company that conducts analysis for major broadcasters to determine exactly what types of programmes they should show on TV. The data science team conduct interesting projects to determine and predict what programmes are most successful and more importantly what programmes customers want to watch. THE ROLE The role is extremely varied which is why it may be perfect for an analyst who is looking to gain vital exposure for various teams and projects. You provide insight on areas to various teams within the business such as what products customers are buying, why they are buying them and identifying potential pitfalls within the business. Audience segmentation projects - helping identify how customer are engaging with products and how to more effectively market to customers You will also work closely with sales and marketing teams from a non-technical background to help them make better sense of data Working closely with production and paid media teams identifying what channels the company should invest in YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2:1 Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field from a leading university Experience of using SQL, Python, and Tableau even if not in a commercial setting is beneficial Expert communication skills with the ability to tell a story with data to tech and non-tech audiences Having a clear scope to use your own expertise to come up with innovative solutions to solve potential problems on the data that is gathered.
