The Company MTrec Commercial are proudly representing our client, as they continue their incredible growth and expansion, in recruiting highly motivated career-oriented individuals. They are currently looking for a Senior Artworker join their team. The Role This is a full-time role based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. Assist in the art working of printed literature, adverts, catalogues and brochures and large format, signage requirements. As well as understanding design for print, the Artworker will also support the team using digital and large format machines. Creating artwork for a variety of communications material to include: Advertising, POS, Branding, Presentations and Marketing projects/campaigns. Adapting artwork based on feedback from internal staff members Progress and reporting skills at every stage of the design and artwork process Methodical approach to filing and archiving images and artwork Operate and maintain Roland large format and Ricoh digital machines - Training will be provided. Maintain product image / catalogue libraries. Redrawing logos Design email flyers /printed collateral. As well as being proficient in the above skills it would be great if you were willing to be flexible to support the team in other ways by helping with exhibitions, sorting out samples and speaking to customers occasionally. The Person If you have already worked as an artworker commercially then that is great. Artwork/graphic - experienced, with a number of years in this role. Reliability and commitment Excellent experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work effectively in a high pressure and deadline driven environment. Excellent communication, presentation and organisation skills with strong attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in both a team environment and on own. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, Although not essential, experience with creating/ editing video content is advantageous. A good understanding of print processes. Confident in producing print ready artwork. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines independently and as part of a team. Proactive and able to offer practical, creative solutions. A keen eye for detail with excellent organisation skills. Enthusiasm to learn and not to be afraid to ask for help / clarity. The ability to work quickly and efficiently. Able to prioritise workload and complete projects within set deadlines.
