About our client An independent creative branding agency based North of Birmingham is looking for a WordPress Developer to join it's brilliant team. This agency has creativity at the core of everything it does and you'd be working on web builds for a whole host of clients from innovative B2B businesses to up and coming consumer brands. Their work isn't run of the mill, it's pushing the boundaries of creativity and complexity; this agency create exceptional marketing campaigns for their clients across all channels and web is a big part of this. They are a team of around fifteen people, close knit and collaborative, with a working environment which allows a real team approach and there's excellent opportunity for development. About the role Working within a small team of Developers you'd be leading your own projects from start to finish, with support where needed. You'll have a brilliant creative team around you to come up with creative concepts and design and your role will be building the sites and bringing it all to life. Working on WordPress primarily, including WooCommerce and API integration, you'll be building websites for a whole host of clients as well as creating the occasional email template. Who we're looking for For this role you'll need to have experience in front end website development and be proficient in WordPress. You'll need to be able to build and test, create plug-ins and integrate 3rd party API's aswell as building WooCommerce sites. The key to this role is WordPress web development but an understanding of design and web optimisation would be really advantageous.
