Overview

We are looking for a Lead Web Developer to work within a growing Web Team in our busy IT Development department based at our Head Office in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Dignity Funerals are one of the leading funeral providers within the UK and are currently listed on the London stock exchange, with a history dating back to 1812 we employ over 4400 staff across our 826 funeral locations, 45 crematoria sites and our Head Office. We are trusted by our customers to provide the most professional, empathic support at times of particular difficulty. We are in the midst of one of the largest transformation programs in our 200 years history to ensure we continue to be one of the market leaders within our industry. We are looking for a Lead Web Developer to work within a growing Web Team in a busy IT Development department. Required technology experience will be HTML 5, CSS 3, ASP.NET, Razor, JQuery, MVC Microsoft SQL Server, consumption of Web Services and C#. Experience with CMS’s, consumption of Web Services, SharePoint, MySQL, SSIS, , Angular, AJAX, Ecommerce Websites and Search Engine Optimisation are preferred but not necessary. Candidates will need to be able to work on their own, coordinate their team, and assist other web developers. The candidate should be a self-motivated individual with the ability to conduct themselves under pressure and still can deliver.
