Overview
Our client has a growing network of members including many of the FTSE 100 and other leading global businesses. They are focused on research, discussion and the practical application of contemporary topics arising from people management, learning and organisational development with a view to improving HR effectiveness and increased business performance. We are looking for a motivated individual to drive new business via phone, networking, business media and events. You'll have just one target each week, and be given the autonomy to deliver however you see fit. So a great role for some confident and creative The role: Key focus is to drive membership revenue across the UK and Europe. The role will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Director, Business Development Managers and Membership Engagement Manager in driving growth which will include: Researching, identifying and approaching senior HR executives with the aim of these prospects joining the networks Seeking opportunities to cross sell between other businesses Contribute to overall business revenue Responsibilities: To secure 15 qualified prospect meetings per week via a suitable prospecting plan (proactive calls, social media, emails campaigns) To research prospects and prospective companies to support BDMs with successful client meetings (company business performance, strategic priorities, research on C-Level executives) To support BDMs, and marketing, with delivering, and following up on, business development events (e.g. content led and / or hospitality events) To confidently convey the benefits of membership and the research to prospective members To seek opportunities to upsell existing members into other services offered by the business To attend events, and third-party events as required, to build knowledge and relationships with members and prospects To ensure business development activities are tracked so effectiveness can be measured Respond to incoming enquiries Track and connect with senior users who leave member organisations to join non members Responsible for ensuring open programmes meet revenue targets Keep CRM up to date with prospects to enable effective targeting Keep sales materials up to date and accurate What is required of you: Relevant work in a sales business development position Ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives Advanced computer and internet search skills Good communication, writing, problem-solving and time management skills Ability to plan and prioritise daily tasks/responsibilities Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure Collaborating with others to overcome challenges Why you'll want it We take care of you with competitive salary and commission package.
