Varied Acquisition & Retention Subscriptions Marketing Role. Unique Proposition/Offering. Great Office Based in Central Bath. Here is an incredible opportunity to join a fun and innovative brand in Bath as their new Subscriptions Digital Marketing Manager. Working specifically on the subscriptions side of the business you will drive new subscribers through acquisition campaigns and effective retention strategies. With a new app being launched, this is an exciting time to be joining the business. What you’ll be doing The company is built around a video subscription service that runs through YouTube and a new mobile app and you will build a profitable base of subscribers. This is a broad digital role where you will have all channels at your disposal; you will design and implement paid media subscriber acquisition campaigns to recruit subscribers at the lowest possible cost. You will work with the wider team to conceptualise and execute campaigns that build the free funnel to convert free social and app users in to paying customers. The paid/organic acquisition campaigns will be supported by a strong retention strategy and you will design the customer communications strategy to aid subscriber retention by looking at frequency, content, timing and tone of voice. With this you’ll manage the CRM strategy and manage the team responsible for the creation of all marketing assets for the video subscription service. Reporting will also be vital to the success of this role, and you will monitor daily gross adds and churn statistics to optimise performance, track customer satisfaction levels, app store rating and engagement metrics, and will provide regular updates to the senior leadership team and aid product improvement and innovation. What experience you’ll need to apply Good experience driving app downloads or subscriptions Proven acquisition and retention campaign experience Strong all round digital marketing knowledge, including email, automation, CRM etc. Ability to improve websites to maximise UX and engagement Understanding of how to convert registered users in to subscribers Experience of using customer insights to inform decisions and approach Highly numerate and analytical Strong verbal and written communication skills Commercially minded and a strong problem solver Ideally holding a relevant business/marketing degree or hold a professional qualification i.e. CIM, IDM What you’ll get in return for your talents There is a competitive salary on offer (circa £45k-£50k), good company benefits, you’ll be working for a great brand and within a fast paced and exciting working environment.
