Job Description

We are currently supporting an innovative, family-run SME who are actively seeking a Site/Project Support Manager based in Brackley. As a Site/Project Support Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that projects/schedules are met, liaising with sub-contractors and other stakeholders from concept stage through to completion. You will also be responsible for negotiating with suppliers and contractors whilst looking for cost saving opportunities. This role will involve being on customer sites across the UK 2/3 times a week, with the rest being in the office in Brackley. Key responsibilities and duties of this role... * Planning schedules and ensuring on-time delivery of materials to site * Coordinating relevant subcontractors in conjunction with project timescales * Taking responsibility of 2/3 projects at 1 time, from concept through to completion * Work closely with the Estimating team to maintain control on costs on each project * Preparing RAMS, programme of works & other documentation as necessary * Take responsibility of Safety & Compliance on sites * Maintain quality control and finishing standards, ensuring that all snags are followed up and rectified * Provide customers with on going updates and communication through the project * Work away from the office and overnight stays are sometimes required Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications... * Experience in fit out environments would be highly beneficial * Project Management experience (Ideally Prince 2 or PMP qualified) * Experience of leadership on site * Experience with Health & Safety (Ideally a formal qualification) * Accountability and honesty are key * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Good customer liaison skills * High level of attention to detail * Tenacity to meet goals and deadlines * Positive attitude and flexible mind-set * CSCS Card (Black or Gold) * Full UK Driving licence * Flexibility to travel across the UK Office Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm (can offer flexibility) Benefits Salary up to 40,000 (DOE) Company car Bonus (GP related) Lunch Allowance 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Auto enrolment pension
