Bid Writer/ BDM - Employment type: Permanent, full-time - Location: Newcastle, Travel to clients around the North and Midlands. - Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. - Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 basic salary plus £3,000 car allowance with OTE £40,000 Due to continued growth and success, my client is now seeking a Bid Writer to join their business. You will be responsible for securing new opportunities and converting them into contract. You will support the Head of Energy in account managing existing customers in the region, leveraging existing client base to drive repeat business, support in finding and writing high value bids and developing proposals. Responsibilities Sales, account management and networking in the social housing sector Develop an expanded network of repeat social housing clients in the London / South East region for energy delivery projects Develop proposals for new district / communal heating projects including technology appraisals and commercials Assist clients in the production of approval documents and internal project briefings and proposals Assist in production of quality responses & administration for tenders Project manage range of activities and projects as required Manage pipeline of allocated / developed accounts and provide regular updates on changes to the Head of Energy Support Delivery and Finance teams in the allocation of Project Purchase Orders from clients, invoicing and cash collect Experience/ Skills Required Sales environment experience Bid writing experience Sales and customer growth experience essential Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Qualifications - Educated to degree level of equivalent You will join a growing business, who continue to go from strength-to-strength.
