We’re looking for a Senior Back End Developer to work with us to add value to the growth of the business. What you’ll do: You'll build highly scalable and maintainable backend services in Python, working with Django, Elasticsearch and more You'll solve problems related to data engineering and data pipelines You'll work closely with peers in product, design and sales You'll share technical solutions and product ideas through design reviews, pair programming and code reviews You'll be proactively solving problems What you’ll need: The Technical Skills: Someone with experience building scalable backend services, with past experience in Python (Django preferrable) with confidence in deploying production applications using AWS (or Azure, GCP or similar) The Analytical Skills: A love for problem solving and troubleshooting The Drive for Process: An enthusiasm for CI/CD The Fundamentals: A solid understanding of databases - data structures, algorithms, OO design and system architecture The Collaboration: A collaborative team player, you'll be working in a squad so collaboration is key What we’ll give you: You'll be joining more than just another startup - our team members are at the heart of everything we do; here we don’t leave things unsaid, we encourage honest feedback in a fast paced, but not fraught environment We’re a start-up but scaling fast, so you’ll need to keep up, push back and question where you see fit We provide a fully stocked kitchen and bar, table tennis, roof terrace, and great socials.
