Intern: Data Cruncher (remote)

Houzen has been winning some of the most prestigious landlord accounts and competes (and outperforms) head on with some of the largest RE agencies (and giving them a headache). We’re now leading the way with our thought leadership, getting our reports about real estate published by RICS and Property Week.  The role:  We’re looking for a superhero to work alongside our Data Analyst. Your role will be to dig deep and find the property data everyone is interested in. You’ll be working on real estate-related materials that will change the way people see the industry. Your day will revolve around speaking to people - from property agents to investors, gathering data points and drafting articles, infographics and reports. You’ll be the first one to discover the juicy parts of London’s real estate. Think of this role as something in between a reporter and data scientist.  So after you get all the data, you’ll get down to business and get the data onto excel, while creating v-lookups, macros and other fun things Excel can provide. If you’re not so sure about your Excel skills - no worries, we will teach you - but we expect you to learn fast. You’ll then assist in pitching the piece to the press or any other relevant audience. As a side task, you may be requested to assist in data gathering for market expansion. The outcome: your name in the press and in all our reports That’s how you get additional points in your next recruitment.
