Overview

Account Manager London Area Monday to Friday Generous Salary Permanent Our client, a progressive, family-owned business, is looking for an impressive Account Manager to join their growing team. They need someone with an account management track record, underpinned by knowledge of the foodservice sector, whether that be as a Chef, Hospitality Trainer or previous food service sales. The successful candidate must be able to assist customers to plan their menus and recommend products suitable to their business, and will have the ability to maximise selling opportunities. They will also possess the tenacity to source their own leads, generating new business and increasing the number of trading customers on their account. Covering London and the surrounding area, the Account Manager will spend some time in the office, but also must be able to manage their own time, working from home and visiting customers regularly. It is, therefore, essential that all applicants have a full, clean driving license. Some of your responsibilities include: Maintaining and growing existing accounts and range selling opportunities wherever possible Identifying 'features and benefits’ of all products and producing a compelling sell to a customer Creating product pricing quotations and special price requests for customers Developing and maintaining a good working knowledge of the new product ranges launched into the business Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to hone selling skills and to maximise effectiveness of 'face - time’ with the customer What you’ll need to have: Strong experience of managing customers’ accounts with an eagerness to secure new business Excellent communication and teamwork skills Has a passion for food and excellent knowledge of the food service industry with the ability to apply this knowledge in ways that benefit customers Proven track record of going the extra mile for customers and drive initiatives forward This is a rewarding role that requires someone who is looking for a new challenge This role offers an excellent benefits package including a generous salary, company car or Oyster card, laptop and printer, mobile phone, Employee Benefits scheme, reduced gym membership, above statutory holiday entitlement, pension scheme, free on-site parking and potential career development.
