Overview
My client based in the North-East is currently offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Sales Manager to cover the North of England, promoting their maintenance contracts to new and existing customers. The company we're working with specialise in the repair and maintenane of lifts and escalators, and in a competitive and challenging marketplace, are looking for the right candidate to join them with good contract or service sales experience. This role will involve a degree of cold calling, and door to door sales in a commercial environment, as well as contract negotiation, quotations and working with account managing existing customers to remain competitive as well as keeping the company's profts in mind. The ideal candidate for the role will have; A backgroung in maintenance contract or service sales, ideally within an engineering discipline. A full UK driving license. A proven track record in a service sales role. An interest in joining a small but growing company specialising in lift and escalator maintenance. Willingness to learn a new industry, including joining engineers out on-site to learn important aspects of the equipment. This position is an exciting chance to join a company with a growing list of clients, including a chance to imput your own ideas into a business and have an impact in the running of the sales department. A commission structure will be available to the right candidate, along with a company car, all of which will be discussed on interview.
