Job title : Business Development Manager Salary : £28,000 OTE £60k Travel costs Location : London Industry : Education / Professional Services Our client specialises in providing professional services into the education sector delivering high quality support services to school, academies and multi-academy trust across England and Wales, including HR, Finance, Health & Safety and data protection. They are private equity backed and have doubled in size in the past two years and operate in a flexible, high achieving and informal environment. An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager / Sales Executive with a view of playing a key role in helping acceleration and developing a client base. The role is based in central London, however there will be significant amount of travel visiting schools across England and Wales. The successful candidate will be joining an existing sales and marketing team with responsibility for securing new business across England and Wales. As our Business Development Manager / Sales Executive you will be: Actively developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for generating a strong pipeline through your own initiative, working with affiliate groups and networking alongside fulfilling company-made appointments. You will need to be prepared to build your own strong client base, as well as demonstrating an excellent sense of professionalism and team-spirit. Assisting the other members of your team with marketing initiatives About you: You will be a grafter, hard-working and tenacious, with a thirst for success. Have a friendly, empathic, down-to-earth approach, with a good sense of humour. Ideally you will have between one and two years sales experience Be approachable and friendly with an engaging manner - both face to face and on the telephone. Have high emotional Intelligence, with good people instincts and a knack for figuring out a prospective client’s needs.
