Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Taking the lead for structuring, due diligence and negotiating deals with the client, in conjunction with Technology Banking partner as required. Taking responsibility for ensuring delivery of high quality output from the team – memos, financial modelling, analytics and structuring; through your own work and coaching and overseeing Associates and ADP colleagues reviewing work as required. Partnering with Technology Banking Team, clients/prospects, Credit Admin, Legal and other internal / external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Building and nurturing relationships with CFO’s and Finance Teams. Accountability for managing assigned portfolio of borrowing relationships, reviewing information, evaluating risk, and engaging with clients, building relationships with appropriate stakeholders. Communicating internally to recommend and execute on responses to changing situations for clients / across the portfolio broadly. Ensuring that portfolio management practices meet the company standards, overseeing junior colleagues and partners to ensure Portfolio Management is robustly completed. Ensuring Portfolio Review is robustly prepared for, issues are identified early on and the CS team is positioned to hold a value-add conversation on portfolio clients. Engaging in team development, including collaboration and coaching of Associates and ADPers that support the team. Developing and demonstrating subject matter expertise within the team including market, sector and competitive trends, business models, lending models and making the group more scalable through optimizing how the company conduct business and manage the portfolio. Role model – values, work ethic, credit skills. Excellent credit analysis and portfolio management skills.​ Good negotiation skills, communication skills and ability to engage with clients effectively and independently.​ Good knowledge and application of credit policies and risk ratings. ​ Proven ability to lead due diligence, structuring, underwriting and documentation processes independently for all but the most complex deals.​ Able to manage portfolio proactively and independently, while exercising proper judgment on when additional guidance and engagement of others is appropriate.​ Knowledgeable of the development of term sheets / deal structures and provides solid guidance and contributions during the delivery and negotiation process with the client.​ Able to engineer creative solutions to client needs. ​ Ability to provide guidance to less experienced staff members, enabling them to show improved efficiency and effectiveness. ​ Able to effectively manage resources to optimize process and outcomes.​ Able to lead simultaneous assignments and produce results in time-sensitive circumstances.​ ​You should be an experienced credit practitioner – comfortable and competent in product knowledge, analysis and modelling skills, credit process knowledge and execution. A proven track record in the delivery of credit solutions to clients and portfolio management is essential.
