Overview
Our client is a British with manufacturing facilities across the UK. They are an industry leader who specialise in the design, manufacture and sale of innovative products that truly change people's lives for the better. Due to team expansion they are now looking to acquire the services of a driven and highly motivated, Business Development Manager with experience of selling into Loan Stores. The role will be covering the whole of the North of England so flexibility to travel is key. This is a fantastic opportunity for a target driven sales professional looking for a role that offers plenty of autonomy with huge opportunities to grow market share. Main responsibilities: Your main purpose will be to maximise revenues from key accounts and awarded tenders and frameworks, delivering sustainable sales and market share growth. Work at a senior level with customers, maximising income and profitability through the sale of products based upon identified customer objectives. Drive senior level customer engagement and build professional relationships within social service, county councils and loan store segments which include private ICES providers. Grow awareness of the companies' product portfolio within targeted accounts through presentations, demonstrations, general marketing and participation in national and regional events Assist the Contract and Tender Manager in the preparation of new tender opportunities within your region. Provide accurate forecasts on a timely basis for the Sales and Marketing Director Implement company selling processes, preparing and implementing key account plans and use planning and reporting tools effectively Negotiate contractual agreements and prices within company guidelines and business product strategies Enable high levels of cross functional communication and work very closely with the sales and service teams and back office support teams to deliver a high level of performance for customers Identify ways of continually improving business models, systems, and processes to exceed benchmarked target key performance indicators. Establish and maintain regular contact with all stakeholders Ensure a 'one company' approach for customers Be aware of and meet all UK legal and regulatory requirements and relevant company policies, including those for Quality, Health and Safety, Anti-Bribery, and Competitive Compliance Key Skills & Experience: Excellent understanding and demonstrable knowledge of sales to UK loan stores is essential Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales role Evidence of success in large negotiated accounts Degree in Business is preferred Additional Information: This is a field-based sales role covering the North of the UK and you will therefore need a valid driving license, a company car/van will be provided to you as well as a competitive bonus structure.
