Housebuilder Sales Manager - Concrete Products Job Title: Housebuilder Sales Manager - Concrete Products Industry Sector: Housebuilders, Housebuilder Sales Manager, Regional Housebuilders, National Housebuilders, Civil Merchants, Groundwork Contractors, Brickwork Contractors, Main Contractors, Precast Concrete, Concrete, Brickwork, Concrete Products, Retaining Walls, Heavyside Building Products, , Architects, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors Area to be covered: England & Wales Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000neg (depending on experience) £12,000 bonus (paid quarterly) Benefits: company car & full benefits package The role of the Housebuilder Sales Manager - Concrete Products will involve: Housebuilder focused field sales position selling a high end quality manufactured range of precast concrete products such as: retaining walls, paving, beams, blocks, flags, acoustic blocks and architectural masonry 70% of your time will be spend managing / selling to key national & regional housebuilders such as Bellway and Bovis 30% of your time will be stimulating demand with groundwork contactors, brickwork contractors and civil merchants Targeted to achieve approximately £1m in the first year with the vision to grow this year on year Dealing with order values ranging from around £60k - £500k per project Utilizing the internal support network including: design teams, estimating and internal sales Working closely with Regional Sales Manager for Housebuilders Required to conduct CPD presentations The ideal applicant will be a Housebuilder Sales Manager - Concrete Products experience with: Must have experience selling to regional and national housebuiders such as Bovis & Bellway (ideally with transferable contacts) Ideally have a construction based qualification such as a civil engineer, structural engineer or architectural technologist (not essential) Highly motivated, conscientious, pro-active and organised approach Ability to get on the phone, create appointments and articulate technical issues A broad understanding of construction drawings and the sequence of a build Technical understanding of precast concrete design advantageous Capable of both generating new business and managing / expanding existing accounts Hungry, driven, autonomous and poses a positive attitude Ideally have sold concrete products such as: retaining walls, paving, beams, blocks, flags, acoustic blocks and architectural masonry (not essential, open on product background) Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Housebuilders, Housebuilder Sales Manager, Regional Housebuilders, National Housebuilders, Civil Merchants, Groundwork Contractors, Brickwork Contractors, Main Contractors, Precast Concrete, Concrete, Brickwork, Concrete Products, Retaining Walls, Heavyside Building Products, , Architects, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors
