Overview

Business Development Representative London (based close to Tower Bridge) Up to £28k plus commission of circa £10k Our client based in South East London are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join their growing business. . This is an entry level position and they would like to fill quickly. The candidate must have a high energy level, be very self-motivated, be able to work at a fast pace, possess a competitive work ethic and be comfortable learning and adopting new technologies. The candidate must possess the desire to work and succeed in a high-volume sales operation. Responsibilities for the Business Development Representative: • Responsible for working as part of the sales/marketing team and as an individual to call prospects, pitch the product line, and develop/qualify leads for the field sales team • Researching prospective organisations that can benefit from our client's products and services, and identifying decision-makers in those organisations • Calling prospects and engaging in conversations designed to discover sales opportunities to generate qualified leads • Gaining commitment from prospects to attend in person and/or online meetings and product demos • Collaborating with colleagues on marketing campaigns • Supporting the sales and marketing team at networking and industry events - which may involve travel and overnight stays • Consistently meeting and exceeding goals Requirements for the Business Development Representative: • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent • At least 1 year of experience of working as a Business Development Representative, or similar • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to interact with people successfully, either in person or over the phone, to lead or persuade, overcome challenges, and organise activity • Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored • Strong computer skills: MS Office, Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Navigator desirable • Comfortable with social networking tools • Enthusiastic, disciplined, and hard-working individual; strong work ethic, hands-on • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, persuasion, and negotiating skills • Must be an excellent listener, and have the ability to learn new concepts and put them into practice on a daily basis If you meet the requirements listed above (this is essential) For further information this Business Development Representative, please urgently get in touch with Andy at Contact Point Resourcing, or apply now online.
