Sales Support Executive - Greater Manchester £21,500 to £23,400 pa Our client is a thriving and growing FE College based in Greater Manchester, who are well on the way to becoming Outstanding. As a result of their continuing growth and success, the Employer Engagement Team are looking for an experienced individual to develop new business and generate revenue income for the College's Apprenticeship provision. More specifically, the Sales Support Executive will be confident in generating their own leads as well as taking accountability for all incoming leads. You will be confident in holding meetings with new and existing employers to sell the services the College offers. Duties will include: Generating your own leads, proactively cold calling local businesses to promote the benefits of apprentice training to secure job vacancies across a number of different industry sectors. Co-ordinate and support sales activity; - Manage all incoming sales enquiries and ensure that all sales activity/leads are monitored and recorded. - Research target markets and companies to find new customers - Proactively contact and arrange meetings for both new and existing customers to sell training services. Working closely with the Recruitment team to match successful applicants to vacancies. Working with the employer engagement team to create quality leads to ensure eligibility for the training programme and to start the enrolment paperwork. Assist employers in setting up their digital apprenticeship services account The successful candidate will have: Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, grade C or above. Ability to travel for the job role as you will be required to meet with local employers, full driving licence and car A working knowledge of the local business community and employer networks would be advantageous, as would a knowledge of Apprenticeships. You must be confident when engaging with employers Excellent telephone manner along with good communication skills. Highly organised, able to manage time, work under pressure and plan effectively. Have a flexible approach and positive attitude to changing business needs. The appointed applicant will be highly motivated with the ability to demonstrate a successful sales background, ideally gained with a training provider. Our client is offering a salary of £21,530 - £23,418 pa dependant on experience and qualifications, plus extensive benefits.
