Overview
A leading business services and financial services company in their Niche field, is looking to hire a Sales Manager. The role will lead a team and to take overall responsibility for the continued growth of the business across a territory ( in this case, London and the South East). Based from offices in Guildford, the role will manage 2 Business Development Managers and 2 inside sales professionals. The team is settled, trained, motivated and performing well. The business offers a niche financial services product and aspects of business consultancy which has a compelling concept and delivers immediate benefit to its customers. With only a few competitors in its market place at the moment, the business is enjoying significant growth and is pushing hard to realise its opportunity. The business is thriving through direct sales and also through re seller work. As a result, the business would like this portfolio to continue and applicants who have experience of working with re sellers aswell as selling directly to customers would be valued. To apply to this role, you should be a Sales professional who has managerial / supervisory experience and a stable employment history which contains sustained and habitual over achievement against targets. Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent (but not essential), you should have experience of working within business services, consultancy, financial services. Stability in employment and length of service will be valued and expected - the employer does not tend to want to interview individuals who have made repeated, regular moves between roles. The Successful candidate will have the above profile and will also demonstrate a positive, can do approach to everything they undertake. The successful candidate will be driven, charismatic, motivating and engaging, with strong well developed communication and presenting skills.
