Overview

Key Account Manager - Aerospace Market leading package / Car/ Bonus Etc. My client is part of a worldwide group that manufacture a range of polymer engineering solutions for demanding environments. This specific business unit specialise in the manufacture of bespoke sealing solutions to a range of industries globally. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to appoint a Key Account Manager to develop sales within the aerospace sector. The Role As a Key Account Manager: - Identify key growth through developing both existing and new; market, customer and technological opportunities. - Dealing with existing OEM and Distribution partners - Work closely with Program Management and Customer Services to ensure customers receive an effective handover from sales/business development to day to day running of the account - Reporting directly to the Sales Director in the Midlands - Fantastic opportunities are available for progression within this multi-national seal manufacturer The Candidate - Market Knowledge - A good understanding of the Aerospace industry - Strategic - Develop new business throughout the patch while working alongside UK sales divisions - Background - MUST be from a mechanical or business degree background with the ability to hit the ground running in a sales environment - Targets driven - Being able to surpass targets and have a track record of doing this - Ambitious - Fantastic opportunities to progress depending on the candidates need - Strong Communication - Working alongside the UK sales team working out of the local site reporting to the sales director - In summary - if you are experienced within the technical sales of a mechanical product and feel you are suitable please contact me via the details below The successful candidate must be based within an hour and a half of the local offices in Birmingham. This role will require travel across the UK but may mean spending 1-2 days in the office some weeks working with the technical team.
