New Business Development / Account Development Specialist Our award winning Global Software Solutions client seeks an experienced New Business Development Representative, with the following must have skills and experience Min of 3 years of proven software telemarketing, inside sales, or software sales experience Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision Able to quickly gain and demonstrate a high level of understanding of company’s Application and benefits Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific emphasis on telephone skills. Experience with contact management applications, Excel, and Word. Limited travel is anticipated circa 3-5 days per month Responsibilities include: Create opportunities within prospects by illustrating areas for improvement, optimization or automation. Work with the pre-sales and BVE teams to underpin these opportunities with business cases Utilize Pre-Call Planning methods to understand the Prospect and why our client is a viable solution for them. Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through various efforts providing value while aggressively targeting accounts within specific Industries that our client has Identified. Understand, and differentiate, how Field Service Management Technology is transposed to different vertical industries in terms of value to targeted accounts. Work alongside Sales Representatives to set meetings and penetrate targeted accounts. Work through 'Gatekeepers’ gaining access to the relevant person/s in the prospective organization hierarchy while understanding where the decision makers are located. Understand the functional competitive advantages of the companies Field Service Management Solution and customize messaging to gain traction into accounts. Conversion of Key Targeted Accounts to the sales pipeline and develop opportunities that our client can continue to build a relationship.
