Overview
Our client is one of the world class manufacturer of CNC machinery and due to a their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Area Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking sales and business development activities throughout the Southern UK. This is a superb career and wealth progression opportunity. The Role: Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for performing effective business development activities to promote product sales in your designated territory. Duties will include but is not limited to the following; Develop and follow-up sales leads and undertake client visits Sales and business development telephone calls, emails and marketing sends Liaise with internal sales and and technical teams to identify and specify machinery suitable for customer requirements Meet and present customer quotations and benefits associated with specified machinery Attend product / trade exhibitions & events Maintain and accurately update CRM Candidate: We are seeking candidates who have either technical / internal sales experience or perhaps CNC machine engineer who is looking for anew exciting opportunity to increase earnings and career progression opportunity. Applicants with previous sales experience ideally in the OEM or machine tool sector. However applicants with good CNC, laser cutting or press brake machine knowledge with a desire to enter a sales role will be considered. You will be outgoing and you will display a friendly articulate personality. Full training and support will be provided all the way to ensure success.
