Area Sales Manager - Below Ground Waterproofing Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Below Ground Structural Waterproofing CSSW Industry Sector: CSSW, Below Ground Structural Waterproofing, Remedial Services, Specialist Chemicals, Preservation Services, Structural Repair, Damp Prof Contractors, Timber Treatment Contractors, Structural Waterproofing Contractors and Builders Merchants Area to be covered: North London & Northern Home Counties Remuneration: £35,000-£50,000 £10,000 Bonus Benefits: Fully expensed car & benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager Below Ground Structural Waterproofing CSSW will involve: Field sales position, selling a wide portfolio of remedial services, specialist chemicals, below ground waterproofing and structural repair products including: rising damp, preservation services, damp proofing membranes and cellar & basement waterproofing Tasked with growing the patch to £500,000-£750,000 Inheriting an area created through company growth with a turnover of approx. £200,000-£300,000, huge potential for growth 60% of your time generating sales via 20-30 active (300 untapped contractors to develop) specialist waterproofing contractors basement contractors, builders and developers (a lot of the business is back-sold through the builders merchants, but some of it is sold direct to the contractors) 40% of your time account managing circa 30-50 builders merchants, currently only 15% of the area turnover comes via the builders merchant client base (our client is looking to grow the number of builders merchant accounts on this area to 200) Area needs developing in respect of builders merchant coverage and specialist contractors Managing builders merchants such as; Travis Perkins, Jewson, Howarth Timber, and many independents Dealing with order values ranging from £300 - £8,000 with contractors with orders from merchants starting from £200 up to £5,000 The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager below Ground Structural Waterproofing CSSW with: Proven track record in construction field sales Must have sold to builders merchants or contractors, ideally both CSSW qualification is not essential but may be advantageous Specific experience of selling into such specialist waterproofing contractors, basement contractors, builders and developers is not essential Knowledge of remedial services, specialist chemicals, below ground waterproofing and structural repair products is desirable but not essential Track record of stability within your career and looking for stability and longevity Comfortable in a small company environment Organised, hungry, hardworking and not a 9-5 field sales representative The Company: Privately held Est. 50 years Circa £7m turnover Approx. 30 employees Please contact Paul, Lee or Simon from Mitchell Maguire for an immediate interview.
