Overview
US-backed European Investment Manager is looking to source an Assistant Fund Manager to be based from their European hub based in London. With over $80bn AUM globally, our client is a top 10 performing investment and financial services company who cover public and private debt and equity investment solutions. This role will support the broader fund management team including helping to develop complex models and performing rigourous financial analysis with regards the performance of funds. A high level of data must be provided to make sound investment decisions. There will also be ad-hoc support to the asset management division, providing support across European markets. The role will consist of: Preparing fund models Performing rigorous due diligence including financial analysis or investment opportunities Asset management analysis Preparing client reports Liaising with day to day communication to clients Analysing acquisition opportunities at both corporate and asset level Assist in producing business plans Market research Corporate finance/mergers and acquisitions/investor relations (ad-hoc) Requirements: Min. 3 years' experience in an Analyst role in a real estate firm Real estate experience Highly numerical with excellent Excel skills Ability to model complex cashflows from scratch Ambitious and self motivated Real Estate Finance/Finance/Business or Property related degree, min 2:1 grade CFA Level 1, 2 or 3 (preferable but not essential) As part of a larger fund management team, you will have access to a full benefits package including share-option scheme, pension and competitive performance-related bonus.
