Do you have a minimum 3 years’ experience and proven track record of managing accounts in the retail sector? The National Account Manager role: You will need to deliver and exceed against DCS sales and margin targets by building successful relationships with new and existing customers. As well as this you will build, own and deliver the volume and value forecast for the assigned customer portfolio; continuously improving financial performance through customer behaviours, managing supplier investment and terms agreements (impacting, for example, cashflow, stock days, average case value, logistics efficiencies etc.) Key responsibilities as our National Account Manager include: - Delivery of supplier objectives in line with JBPs - Customer understanding (e.g. KPIs, contacts, retail portfolio/ formats, shopper profile, corporate & category strategy, pricing & promo strategy, category size, competitive set, competitive USPs, supply chain structure etc.) - Customer strategy - Collaborative volume and value forecasting - Joint ownership of account business modelling – long term strategic modelling of supplier investment, building customer plans with analysis of ROI. - Tracking of customer budgeted investment, effectively processing invoices and claims. - Understanding of customer P&L - Rebates / accruals set-up - Influence range and distribution - EPOS data tracking and analysis - Competitor intelligence - Produce effective reports internally and externally - Ensure all activities relating to medicines and medical devices are in accordance with Good Distribution Practice of medical products Experience/Skills you’ll need as our National Account Manager: - Essential is a minimum 3 years’ experience and proven track record of managing accounts in the retail sector - Intermediate negotiation - Stakeholder and category management - Forecasting - Analytical - Intermediate Commercial Business Modelling / P&L ownership - Good Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint - Strong presentation skills If you wish to be part of our expanding company which offers exciting opportunities for career progression, we look forward to hearing from you.
