Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to become an integral part of our team. You will be helping the team setting up and maintaining the infrastructure for a platform that delivers a comprehensive solution that allows organisations to understand and maximise the real value of their data. A successful candidate will need to be organised, motivated and get things done. Want to work in a startup environment and take ownership of what he/she will be working on. Responsibilities: - System administration and network diagnostics - Implementation and management of methodologies for the continuous delivery/integration - Setup and manage Virtual environments - Implementation, and automation of governance processes, security controls, and compliance validations - Defining and deploying metrics, monitoring, and logging systems Required: - Familiar with cloud concepts - Experience with at least one cloud provider (e.g AWS,GCP,Azure) - IAM management - Background in Linux/Unix server administration - Knowledge of at least one scripting language - Knowledge of SQL/MySQL & NoSQL - Interest in security and malware detection, authentication and authorization - a good understanding of WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, HTTPS, DNS, VPN Nice to Have: - Any GCP certifications - Familiarity with the JVM ecosystem (Java8, Scala, Gradle, Artifactory etc.) - Experience designing, operating and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems in a 24x7 production environment - Experience with data visualisation tools - Experience in at least one programming language (eg. Python/C++) - Experience in any of: performance monitoring; security monitoring; deployment/configuration; continuous integration/build servers and cloud resource creation script.
