Business Development Manager - High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Value-Added Services) Area: UK Based: West Midlands Salary: £35,000-£45,000, Bonus Scheme, Pension, 25 Days Holidays plus Statutory Days Due to refocussing and growth, an exciting opportunity has become available with one of our clients for an exceptional Business Development Manager - High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Value-Added Services) to work across the UK. The business is a forward thinking organisation, that is instantly recognisable as a market leader in their field and they have a very strong and well respected brand. The company are part of a global group and set the standards within the market with their exceptional and wide ranging products and on-time delivery service. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience of selling Stainless Steel or Aluminium, failing that the candidate will have experience of selling Value Added Services such as Machining or failing that, you must have experience of selling Other Types of Metals or something Engineering related to work across the UK from a West Midlands base. As a Business Development Manager - High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Value-Added Services), you will be tasked with ensuring the further development of new business as well as further developing key accounts in markets including the Automotive sector, the Construction industry, Catering companies and also Distributors amongst others. You will be measured on hitting financial targets, profit made on your accounts and target, the overall growth you achieve as well as the volume and the quality of the new customers you develop not to mention how you further develop the company's established key accounts. This role offers excellent, diverse and potentially rapid opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company as well as the group for the successful applicant so you will be an ambitious and forward thinking individual. You will possess a proven track record of selling Stainless Steel and Aluminium, if not you will have experience of selling Value Added Services such as Machining or you will have proven experience of selling Other Types of Metals or something Engineering related either on a national or regional basis. The company require applicants who bring energy, passion, are hungry to succeed and can bring fresh ideas. Ideally they would also like candidates who are data and technically savvy. They also look for people who are structured and disciplined with their time.
