Overview

A leading distributor of heating, plumbing and bathroom products is looking for a strong Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales team in their Southern region. You'll be line managing, developing and mentoring 9 salespeople across the Southern half of the UK, taking ownership of sales and margins and assuming responsibility for major accounts. The Opportunity The company you'll be joining sell predominantly into independent merchants, offering the most comprehensive range of products within the plumbing and heating sector. They currently turnover c.£300 million a year and continue to grow while operating from nine distribution centres throughout the UK. The business has recently been acquired by a successful UK wholesale and distribution group, expanding the group's turnover to c.£920 million. Joining their well-established team as a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include: Line managing 9 salespeople across the Southern region, developing annual, quarterly and monthly plans for sales, profit & margin Being responsible for the performance and development of account managers, conducting regular coaching sessions to boost sales skills and enhance their performance Being responsible for c.£60 million sales throughout the Southern region Building relationships with high-level customers and maximising the profitability of accounts Rewards As a Regional Sales Manager, you will receive: Starting salary in excess of £60K depending on experience Highly competitive bonus structure Company car, phone and laptop Outstanding career progression and development opportunities Requirements To be successful as a Regional Sales Manager, you should have: Sales management experience ideally within the plumbing, heating, bathroom, or construction industry (or similar) Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills The ability to adapt your leadership style to achieve positive outcomes Strong customer focus and in-depth understanding of internal and external customer relationships and business processes A high achiever who is career centred and likes to work to demanding goals and targets If you think you have what it takes, submit your application today to find out more
