Field Sales Manager

Our client is a successful foodservice business that to this day maintains its core business values after its acquisition by a larger player. Sourcing the finest quality products possible from worldwide suppliers they sell through a variety of channels. They are a leading player in the food service sector, and as part of an ambitious growth plan they are looking to appoint a Food Service Sales Manager to drive their sales forward and grow their business. You will already have experience of sales growth in the food service sector by spotting the opportunities and then exploiting them. You will have extensive experience of dealing with both the independent trade as well as some of the regional buying groups and you will definitely have a strong track record of sales delivery and growth. This role in many ways is a 'Blank Canvas' and as you develop the business, grow and nurture these accounts, they will form part of your on-going customer portfolio. In addition you will be responsible for the internal and external sales teams helping and motivating them to achieve their very best. To help you achieve this you will have the backing of a well-developed business with a sophisticated delivery network and an excellent customer service record that has achieved BRC accreditation.
