Overview

The role of Finance Manager is to lead on all aspect of financial management and ensure the finance team operates efficiently. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for the improving processes and implementing changes. Client Details The client we are working with is a small-medium size charity that supports people suffering with a certain type of disability or impairment Description The responsibilities of the successful Finance Manager will include but not be limited to: Production of monthly management accounts Production of Statutory accounts (SORP) Line managing and supporting the finance officer Business partnering and building relationships with budget holders (including non-finance managers) To assist in the development and improvement of systems in conjunction with the finance function Profile The successful Finance Manager must be at actively studying ACCA/CIMA with solid experience working in a similar role and have a strong understanding of SORP accounting and grant processing. The applicant must have strong excel skills, good attention to detail, experience line managing staff, up to date knowledge of payroll legislation, strong communication skills and business partnering experience. Job Offer On offer for the Finance Manager is a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience as well as flexible working, a 10% non-contributory pension and tonnes of other benefits.
