Overview

Join our Board Governors x 3 ( non-remunerated with expenses) 1 x Fully Qualified Accountant – any sector background 1 x FE background 1 x HE background DN Colleges Group is a dynamic education provider in South Yorkshire, Greater Lincolnshire and the Humber Region, focused on transforming our communities through learning. It has an annual income of £50 million, 1,300 staff and 13,000 students and provides a wide range of courses from Further Education and Apprenticeships through to Higher Education (one of the largest providers of HE in the FE sector). We are now seeking three new Governors to complement the skills within our Board and are interested in individuals with expertise in Finance (fully qualified Accountant), Further Education and Higher Education. You may not have thought about a role like this before but your experience (alongside our other Board members) can help us shape the future of our college. You must have experience of working strategically, ideally in a medium to large organisation and have a real passion for making a difference as well as an affinity with the local area. You are not required to have Governor experience as you will benefit from a well-supported induction and training programme.
