WEA has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Tutor to work in our Building Family Bridges Project Key areas of responsibility: Building Better Opportunities (BBO) The National Lottery Community Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014 - 2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth. The WEA is the lead on the Building Family Bridges (BBO) project in Berkshire. We work with a number of partner organisations to improve the education and employment opportunities for local people. We are seeking to recruit a Lead Tutor to teach a range of employability courses for the participants on the project. The courses will be partly delivered using our Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas) and taught in both Reading and Slough. About you: Whatever your background, you will need teaching qualifications, alongside some experience of developing tutors and working closely with or in locally based voluntary and community sectors. Equally importantly, you should be very organised and methodical, with good leadership and coaching skills, be flexible, able to work on your own initiative and work closely with your team to achieve WEA’ vision, mission and values.
