Building Surveyor - Devon

Permanent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join an international leading consultancy in the South West Your new company As a Building Surveyor you will be joining an internationally recognised construction consultancy who provide a wide range of technical services to central government, healthcare and education clients. Your new company have expertise in Building Surveying, Project Management, Quantity Surveying & Cost Management, Civil and Structural Engineering. Your new role As a Building Surveyor you will work as part of a team who are responsible for delivering a wide range of professional services across both the private and public sectors (with your Plymouth operation predominately supporting local government and the MOD). Your work compromises of refurbishments, alterations and maintenance projects from conception through to completion on site - in order to deliver this you will be involved in the preparation of client briefs, cost control, management of the production of drawings, specifications and tender documents. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this exciting new position you will ideally have a number of years experience in a Building Surveying role which has involved contract administration, formulating specifications and design. You'll also need to have a relevant degree, ideally in Building Surveying. What you'll get in return You will be working for a national organisation joining an established Building Surveying team who are able to provide support, further training, development and a wide range of clients allowing you to further progress your career through to principal, senior and associate level roles. You'll receive a basic salary of between £37,000 - £42,000 dependent on level of experience, alongside excellent annual leave entitlement.
